Participatory Efforts for Healthy Environment-PEHE, a non-government, not-for-profit socio economic development organization,  
started its development journey from a small initiative. Since its inception PEHE is striving hard to provide a plate form to  
marginalized communities to have easy access to basic needs and to create a society where everyone have right to equal  
opportunity.  It is led by young, energetic professionalist whose vision is to bring un-accessed, deprived and marginalized  
communities in the mainstream of life.

Our voluntary Community Health Awareness Program (CHAP) in Dadu, Hyderabad, Jacobabad and Jamshoro districts makes  
our organization as one of the key voluntary organizations on primary health and hygiene in Sindh.

While our thematic focus is on Advocacy and Awareness, Social Mobilization and Capacity Building, Shelter and Community  
Physical Infrastructure, Water and Sanitation, Health and Hygiene, Livelihood and Food Security, Emergency and Disaster  
response, Recovery and Rehabilitation, Live stock rearing and Development, Poverty Alleviation, Education, Women  
Empowerments, Child Rights, Social Protection.  

PEHE has implemented 19 project of worth more than PKR 500 millions in Districts Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu,  
Qamber@shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shaheed Benzirabad, Matiyari, Badin and Thata.

In these all efforts, PEHE has built its linkage and good working relationship with the government, non-governmental  
organization, Community based organizations, Village/Muhalla Development committees, Philanthropist and Respectables and  
communities at large,
Head Office and Field Offices

The head office of the organization is based at Hyderabad city which is 150 km from Karachi.
PEHE works in three districts (Hyderabad, Dadu, Sukkur) with integrated interventions approach, other  
districts with major interventions and executed different projects are Jamshoro, Qamber@shahdadkot,  
Jacobabad, Nawabshah (shaheed Benazirabad), Matiyari, Tando Mohammad Khan, Badin and Thata).
PEHE is an indigenous, intermediary non-profitable, non-governmental organization (NGO) working in different development fields for the up-lift of marginalized people since 2005 and got registered in November 28th 2006 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
The organization has a board of directors comprising of more 07 members. All members are social activists  
and social workers. The BoDs are core policy making body. PEHE has an Executive Committee  
comprising three members. Chairman is the head of Executive Committee and He looks after all operations  
and day to day organizational matters. However, all policy matters are decided in BoDs meeting.
